Madrid Apartments

We are starting to optimize Aspasios for Madrid apartments. They offer a high range of quality furnished apartments to rent in the centre of Madrid, ranging from short term to longer term, such as 3 to 6 months.

Madrid is a fantastic European city, the capital of Spain and a hive of activity for both the business and pleasure visitor. Aspasios can provide excellent accommodation aimed mainly at the business end of the spectrum, offering luxury serviced apartments in this wonderful destination.

In a city that never sleeps, make sure that you do.

Barcelona Apartments Update

We've had some increased success with our Barcelona Apartment site, which has moved up to number 3 in Google.com. It would seem that results tend to fluctuate on a regular basis, but it's steadily going in the right direction.

We've been steadily adding quality links into the site and we're going to start distributing some articles written by the owners. It will be interesting to see what effect this has on rankings and then we'll be concentrating on getting other search terms such as Barcelona Apartment Rental, Barcelona Apartment Rentals and Barcelona Luxury Apartments, to name but a few.

Then we will be looking at the other search engines such as Google.es and Google.co.uk, as it's Google which sends most of our traffic and not really Yahoo.com or Msn live.

Very happy with progress at the moment - we'll keep you posted on our progress.

Google PR Update November 2007

There has been another google PR update. Lots of our sites have been largely unaffected by this, but there has been some downgrading again. So it's on with the job of getting links.

At the moment, we have good results for barcelona web design in Google, also we are having some success with 'barcelona apartments' - we have reached up to number 5 in Google SERPs for this term - incredibly happy with this as it's such a competitive market.

Google PR Update

The Google PR update has now settled down into something we can all start checking on against the old values. This time there has been a mixture of kindness and harshness. To be honest, the sites where I've done more work had had far better results. So lots of content updates, new links, directory inclusion and the like, with a little optimisation of the site too, based on site analytics and some mroe keyword research have been the keys again.

I am also finding that over time, good sites are getting stronger and stronger. This is reflecting in both the Google results as well as the Yahoo! and (new) MSN Live search engines. I know we shouldn't just concentrate on Google, but it just seems that the others simply don't send my sites much traffic, so can you blame me?

Well back to work now, I'll be busy these next few months, awaiting the next Google PR update, as well as the eagerly awaited Google Directory update, which has been quite a long time now.

Some Google Action expected soon...

I'm thinking that some major updates to Google are just around the corner. There have been no back link (BL) or page rank (PR) updates for a couple of months, and the Google directory export hasn't been touched since December of last year.

I've been working hard getting quality new links to our site, and generally working on some fine details within the page optimisation. I hope to reap these rewards when Google and Co decide it's time to make a few changes.

So in the mean time, I'm going to do what I can until such a time. I suggest you all do the same.

You win some, you lose some...

We've just had another Google Toolbar Pagerank (TBPR) Update and it's one of them where you just have to accept the rough with the smooth. I've noticed very few gains among our sites and in general, an all-round loss. Even though we've done our usual hard work in increasing the rankings.

From time to time, Google has to check everyone back a peg or two. As the Google Pagerank (PR) only goes up to 10, there comes a time where the 10s remain 10s and everyone else has to relatively go down a little. Otherwise we'd end up with lots of PR10s, PR9s and the like, etc.

But it's not all bad news. It keeps you on your toes and makes you realise it isn't just about Google PR. It's all about getting people to your site and ultimately, selling your products.

Time to start work again in time for the next one - whenever that may be...
