Another Google Update?

It would seem that Google has fooled everyone again and has affected another update of toolbar PR (TBPR)- the shortest update in recent memory, this one came at around 42 days since the last.

So those of you who missed out will now probably have to wait another few months. Those that didn't hang about will be happy. I noticed some increases in TBPR within my sites.

Is this a call back to the old days with TBPR updates nearly once a month? That would be fantastic, but in all reality, probably not the case. We can only wait, and take advantage of each and every day.

Links, Links, Links

The time has come to start getting more incoming links. It would seem that some of the competition out there has the right idea - plenty of theme-related, quality incoming links do no end of good to your link popularity and if the anchor text is correct then your link reputation will also be good.

It's easy to say, but takes a lot of time to execute. One thing is researching potential link partners and the other is getting them to reciprocate. The only option is hard work - put the time in and you'll not only benefit from higher search engine results listings, but hopefully more traffic and ultimately, more business - which is surely what SEO is all about.

So, over the next few months, I'll be spending some time sorting out some incoming links. I'll hopefully be able to get enough in so that the next time Google decide to update PR, we'll have a boost right across the board.
