Search Engine Optimisation in Barcelona
Search engine optimisation has become rather a buzz-phrase around Barcelona. Many businesses, from Barcelona apartment rental agencies to Barcelona restaurant guides are spending large amounts of money in pursuit of the hallowed top 5 Google ranking.
Lots of other businesses and organisations are also realising the need for web search engine visibility. The benefits are obvious - targetted visitors to your site and each one of them a chance to sell your product or purchase your services.
So how does one go about optimising their web site for the search engines? What steps must one take in order to get their site to the top of the search engines that really count? And the big question, how much is it going to cost me? Or more's to the point, how am I going to benefit from it?
I am therefore going to use this blog to speak of my efforts in search engine optimisation, particularly with reference to Barcelona.
So, is an optimised page enough? Does this depend on the competition? Does the Google sandbox really exist? How important are incoming links? Do unthemed links affect your PR adversly? Is there such a thing as a bad incoming link?
